Forge in Resilience,
Guided by Spirit.
From the remote village of Kharikhola, Tashi Sherpa’s journey is one forged through resilience, responsibility, and an unbreakable bond with the mountains. He began his trekking life at just 13 years old, working as a porter alongside his father during school vacations. Carrying loads heavier than his own body weight, walking for days through rugged trails, and sleeping in basic teahouses, he learned the true meaning of endurance and humility at an early age.
At 15, tragedy reshaped his life when his father passed away. In an instant, Tashi became the backbone of his family, carrying responsibilities no teenager should have to face. Yet, instead of being defeated by hardship, he found strength in the very mountains that had raised him. Each step on the trail became both survival and purpose.
Tourism was not just a profession for Tashi—it was a lifeline. He continued working every possible season and school holiday to support his family, slowly transforming years of hardship into mastery. Over time, he rose from porter to assistant guide and eventually into a highly respected trekking guide with more than 12 years of experience across Nepal’s most challenging and iconic routes.
Tashi guides with the deep understanding of someone who has lived every layer of mountain life. His knowledge goes beyond trails and altitudes—he understands weather patterns, terrain changes, local cultures, and the unspoken rhythms of the Himalayas. His connection to the mountains is instinctive and spiritual, built through years of trust, respect, and lived experience.
Today, Tashi leads with quiet confidence, compassion, and unwavering responsibility—ensuring every trekker feels safe, supported, and deeply connected to the Himalayas he calls home. His philosophy is simple and clear: #GuidedWithHeart.
